Wizard Ceases Publication: the End of an Era

This week you heard a thousand nerd voices cry out and then were suddenly silenced by the news Wizard and Toy Fare will cease publication and their staffs have been let released from their jobs. In a a Press Release from the new Wizard World CEO Gareb Shamus he announced his intent to launch a digital magazine called “Wizard World” in February 2011.

I'll miss Wizard, but not as much as Toyfare!

Yeah, I've got several year's worth of Wizards in a trunk in my closet, I may have purchased 3 total Toy Fares in my life. You ready for the return of Smallville?

Yeah I was pretty bummed when it got pushed back a week. Hopefully they don't do it again.
